The Company

Ariztía pioneered chicken exports in Chile in 1978, when the first shipments of day-old parent stock took place, backed by the PABCO (officially-monitored chicken farms) programme of the Chilean Ministry of Agriculture.

In the early ‘90s, Ariztía built in Chile the first poultry meat processing plant, approved for export to the European Community, which also allowed the company to start exporting turkey meat.

Currently, the company exports to several markets where Mexico stands out, with projected sales of aproximately 17,000 metric tons (80% chicken and 20% turkey) by 2010.

In total, Ariztía exports around 35,000 tons yearly of chicken & turkey meat, raw, processed & cooked, as well as dairy, fish, pork and dried fruit products, among others.
